When asked the question, "What is Kiwanis?" 2006 President Jim Nannery will say "they are a community service organization that has a Global reach with a Local touch" after explaining all they do within their local community, how they provide young people with leadership opportunities and how they reach out to the world around them! Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization dedicated to the welfare of Children around the world.
